PR Friendly
{I’m currently looking for sponsors for Relevant 2011. If you’re interested in partnering with me, please send me an e-mail: honeyandcheese(at)gmail.com.}
I want to promote my product or business on Honey and Cheese. Will you write about it?
I am open to sharing about your product on my blog, provided I believe it would be of benefit to my general readership and is in line with my Christian beliefs and values. I reserve the right to turn down any offers and opportunities I don’t think are fitting for Honey and Cheese or are not of ample value to trade for my time. If you’re still interested, please keep reading to see how you can share your product at Honey and Cheese.
How much will this cost me?
My weekly Etsy features are free for shops that have been in business for 6 months or less or have fewer than 100 sales. If you think your shop is a good fit for the Etsy Wednesday feature, leave me a comment or send me an e-mail with your shop url and I’ll check it out.
If you’d like an ad placed in the sidebar, please write me to discuss options and rates.
Giveaways are also a good method of advertising, but I will only host a giveaway for a product I’ve been able to test myself, or have a family member test. I will then post a review of the product, link to your site, and talk about the giveaway. I always link up to several “giveaway parties,” drawing more visitors to the post, meaning more advertising for you. The final cost is up to you – the value of your product for me to review and to giveaway, and the cost of shipping.
What if I just want you to review my product, but not host a giveaway?
I would be happy to review your product, as long as it fits into the guidelines mentioned above: of benefit to my general readership and not at odds with my Christian beliefs and values. As always, I reserve the right to turn down any offers and opportunities I receive.
Do you ever trade links?
I do, following the same guidelines as for reviews and giveaways. Send me an e-mail if you’re interested and we’ll see what we can work out.
What do you mean by “not of ample value to trade for [your] time”?
Reviews and giveaways, while fun, do take time. The communication back and forth, the actual testing of the product, taking photos and writing the actual review, hosting and moderating a giveaway – it doesn’t sound like much, but it does add up. Sometimes to the tune of a full days’ work! Not every product offered for review is worth such a significant time investment, for me.
Okay, so I read all that and I want to proceed. How do I contact you?
It’s easy! Just send an e-mail to honeyandcheese(at)gmail(dot).com and make sure your business name and the reason for the e-mail (giveaway, review, etc.) are in the subject line. I do my best to reply to all e-mails within one week.
