Today marks the first post of my new weekly series, Thrift Store Thursday. It’s great timing, considering yesterday was National Thrift Store Day. Each week I’ll share a thrift store find, usually my own, but I might highlight someone else’s treasures from time to time.

Here’s my latest “steal.” I got these pillowcases for just $0.75 total at The Clothes Rack in Richmond. Look at all that sweet lace!

My hubby’s been wanting a bicycle, so he can ride with our girls. But it just hasn’t been a priority. So I’ve been keeping my eyes open for inexpensive models as a birthday present. Yesterday we stopped at the thrift store so my daughter could look at the clothes (505 off), and they had four bikes in the size he needed! They’d just been brought in the night before, so our timing was just right. (Especially cool for me, ’cause that kind of thing never happens to me.) So we got a nice-quality bike in great shape for $25.
That’s awesome! Isn’t it great when you go into a thrift store and find just what you were looking for.
