a city was born . . .
I thought I’d give y’all another peek into my journal for the Ink Blots class. When I started this assignment, I really had no idea what I was going to draw. We were supposed to fill up a page with something using geometric shapes. So I drew a tiny square down in the corner. And then drew a next door neighbor for that square. And then another neighbor for the second square. “Hmmm,” I thought, “This could be neat.” So I kept going until I had a lopsided border of lopsided squares.
After the border was created, it simply begged for a picture to be drawn inside. And, since I was trying to use mostly squares and rectangles, the idea for the city was born.
One of these days I’m going to get a copy made so that I can color it in.
